Suni Sensor

Well, I hooked up my Suni sensor today to start using it with real patients. The sensor worked fine, but the XCP holder was lousy. The horizontal basket slides on OK, but the vertical basket simply puts too much stress on the sensor. So we can't use if for BWs until we get a better holder. We can us...

I understand that you want to automate it, but I will insist that what you are planning is a bad idea. First of all, the claim totals are not fundamental value fields. They are instead, calculated and derived sums based on the values in the claimproc table. Your queries would have to create new clai...

It's available in everyone's 5.3. You turn it on from Setup, Misc. Yes, it passes the data to X-Charge. But credit card numbers should not technically be stored unencrypted in the database. So if you turn it on, the liability associated with the unencrypted numbers is totally up to you. I would say ...

The new payment report is done for v5.4. It subtotals by type and looks gorgeous. It took about 5 days, which is a huge amount of time for one small feature, so I hope it was worth it. The good news is that it forced us to start using RDL again. The better we get at using RDL, the better will be the...

We already have checkboxes for the fee and insurance columns. So you're just talking about being able to turn off the discount column, right? Yes, that seems very reasonable.

The discount column is in the TP module, whereas the Adjustment column is in the Account module. Discounts would only be assignable to status of TP. Adjustments, as always, are only assignable to status of Complete.

Well, we added support for Oracle last year, and it was painful to say the least. Many inconsistencies between the way the two databases handle things. What we've ended up with is an annoying situation where every query we use must be thought about in terms of Oracle. So we frequently have: if(Oracl...
