For the life of me I can't find how to turn off trace. The only thing resembling trace is the checkbox "Define TRACE constant" that is found in the properties of each individual project/Build tab, which doesn't make a difference I'm afraid. Am I overlooking something here? VS2010. Thanks

Apparently when I connect to the domain controller, the Windows Firewall policy establishes new rules that would refuse certain inbound connections. Reconfiguring the firewall solves the problem.

I would add a "default" setup with the most commonly used items already selected. For example, SRP means 2 carps 1:100K epi 2% lidocaine unless we click something else. This would save quite a few clicks. In addition, OD wouldn't have to warn the user of any forgotten sections because of the default.

make sure your database folder is a single word (ie. open2) instead of "Copy of Open Dental". Open Dental (or maybe it's MySQL) freaks out when it encounters spaces or weird characters in the name. Try that first.

The clipboard is a temporary holder in memory. Whenever you copy something, the clipboard is occupied. Then when you go to paste whatever you copied, the clipboard empties its contents there for you. Thanks Dr. Sparks, that did the trick by changing the dates. Much neater now. The only problem is that I won't know when those procs were first diagnosed. I can live with it though. Thanks again!

Another delivery method would be using an upload CGI script to allow the patient to select the finished PDF, then upload to a folder in your website, or having that CGI script send the file to your email. That way the patient doesn't have to fire up their email client.

Patient Image Acquisition

What do you do to get patient pictures? I've been using a webcam, snap a pic using its program and then drag it to the patient's folder. What about an intra-oral camera? Is there a way to have image acquisition within OD itself or another faster setup? Thanks
