Sounds great...and while you are at it, I think it would be best for procedures completed that day, didn't disappear from the list after they are completed. That way if they were completed from the chart and not attached to the appt, they can still be attached later on with the C status listed next ...

Showing procedures in appts.
Noticing the change in 5.0.15: "Procedures that are attached to other appointments no longer show as available to schedule from another appointment." My opinion is that we should have those attached to other future appts still show in the list, just with some indication that it is attached. In my ol...

Yes, that would be 5.1 in the head directory, but you shouldn't use it yet for you real office, because it is still in development and it will mess up your database. If you use this on your main database and then when you try to upgrade to the beta or released version, It won't be able to convert yo...

As much as i would like everything to be right away, I want to put a plug to still have the option of batch method of sending. We have a double check at the end of the day to make sure what is in the computer is actually what we did and therefore don't usually actually send claims until after that c...

ok, I see...I guess I didn't read properly what he meant above here... Now since what I am talking about is just a function of "whoever pushes OK last," similar to how you brought up on running two copies of OD in another thread, any problem adding in a check for a planned appt right before writing ...

I see all the changes and I think got the all copied over to v5.1. I see the problems above and what I should do differently in the future. I will also try follow the coding rules you mentioned. What do you think about moving the CommLog button back off from the formCommunications to directly on the...

2 planned appointments
Just discovered this today: There seems to be a bug in that if someone makes a planned appt and then on another computer someone (who hasn't refreshed the chart) goes to make a planned appt, it created two different planned appointments with no way to delete the original one. I plan on adding in a c...

Appt Description Bug
Just noticed a minor glitch and not sure if anyone else had noticed it. Version 5.0.8.0 The front office scheduled a women for her recall exam and accidently put Child Prophy. She realized the mistake and deleted the Child Prophy and put adult prophy. I was reviewing the progress notes and found th...

Daily Production $ bug
I am trying to fix the problem with the daily production being off...the only problem I see is appts that are checked "is hyg" and then do not have a hyg prov selected are not included in the #. Has anyone else found a specific thing that causes it to be off? I plan on changing this to be included i...

yes, who will accept the attachments will be a problem. Even when we used NEA (we dropped e-attachments last year because of the hassle of doing two different things and having to figure out which one accepted and which didn't) there were quite a few companies that just didn't accept e-attachments. ...

Appt status bug fixed...
"Appt confirmed status reflects last status clicked instead of current status." we lost this thread, but I fixed and uploaded this correction I believe a week ago or so in v 5.1 (revision 532 i think)...I still see it on the previous versions page "Known issues" on the website. so if you like, this...

yes, I just took a break from any programming, but that will be my #1 priority...I'll see if I can do that this morning and I changed the timing after using it for a bit to be about a 1/4 second, which seems to be the best combination of delay/speed in real life. You were right, 1/2 second was too l...

I might have a different solution altogether. I still like the idea of central log of all notes(including e-mails like you said I would need to include and the addition of the recall note and any tasks for the pt), but what about this: Most of what I was talking about involves working from the LISTS...

All Appt, Clinical, CommLog Notes Visible or Just CommLog?
The chart is the heart of the record for any patient. Routinely, before we call any patients about tx, make them new appts, or reschedule them, we want the person calling/talking to refresh themselves about what is going on with a patient first. This requires visiting the chart and reading the notes...

I noticed the slowness when I tried v5.0 on my backup full database from my office. I eliminated the ins indicator from the source and tried it to make sure that was not slowing it down. It didn't make any noticeable difference, so it seems fine. I then did a database maintenance and that seemed to ...

New Feature: Indicator on appt for ins not sent
This has been really nice in our office since I implemented it a few months ago. It insures claims are created/sent in a timely manner.
The "I" on the appt for ins changes to a red "!" to indicate the account/ins needs attention.

Just to keep the record up to date, I thought I would list the things I added while the forum was down. (or at least what I can think of :p) 1.) Recall Apt enhancements: *** Automatically schedule perio maint for perio pt's instead of prop *** Different options also for kids on recall appts *** Auto...

I plan on adding in a background image option to print with the simple letters.
Might add option to the statements for a simple logo as well...will have to see about that one.

I have integrated our logo into my custom version for simple letters...and for stationary...hopefully I can get that included soon into the main program. You basically just need a Jpg background with a design similar to this to make it work: http://www.smilecouple.org/od/stationary.zip (this has som...
