help with query

posted on DT previously Coming up to that time again - end of year letters and postcards. My first year-end with OD. Previously, with Dentrix, we'd run overdue recall report for patients with insurance, remind them of unused funds; and same for patients without insurance, remind them of flex benefit...

MedHx/Allergy reports

We just discovered that MedUrgent Notes show up in the appointment descriptions...which is really useful for certain conditions that are not to be missed - like Pre-med,Latex Allergies or Epi sensitivity. How do we search for patients with like entries in Medical Summaries, so we can identify these ...

Re: Printing out notes for the day

spolevoy is most likely using the user query window: http://opendental.com/manual/queryoverview.html and copying query #633 from our query examples page: http://opendentalsoft.com:1942/ODQueryList/QueryList.aspx and running it. help with query syntax

We are using a modified version of query #164 for unscheduled treatment. I want the query to return treatment plans from last week, 3 weeks ago, and 5 weeks ago. Re: Printing out notes for the day

Jason - I am looking online to see if there is a command in SQL to word wrap, but I can't find it. Is there a simple way to add a line of code to the query, or does it have to go in as a feature request?

Printing out notes for the day

Most of our notes are Autonotes, filled out by DAs. I don't always (as in never) check what they write...and I don't think it's a good idea. It would be great if we could print out notes for the day for review. I found query #633 Procedure Notes for date range including group notes which seems to fi...

Confused about Planned Appts

It seems you can't effective track incomplete treatment plans without Planned Appt Tracker, and I am confused about the function of this feature. Doesn't generating a treatment plan imply a planned appointment? What's the point of having it, but more importantly, why does it then hamper your ability...

Convert to OD and Paperless, or one at a time?

I am considering converting from Dentrix v11 to OD.
I would also like to go paperless.
Which is the less stressful conversion - both or one at a time?
