To my knowledge the only way to add a referral is by going into the family module and double click the green section listed referrals. It would make more sense to me to have a button accessible from the chart module. Can it be accessed another way? Can another button be added?

I am trying to find the "best" way to organize notes in opendental. We use the procedure note and comlog for most, but when we want to watch a tooth or note something to follow up with the patient next time we generally will also put this in the box just below the tooth chart. I am also interested in being able to easily review notes at the end of the day. It is too tedious to go patient by patient at the end of the day to do this. What report are you running and how do I export it? I would be very interested in this as a feature.

I have been looking for instructions on how to scan an existing form into sheets for referral slips and medical history forms. Can someone give me a step by step. I am missing something. Thanks

Thanks for the reply. What imaging software does everybody use? I know XDR comes with XDR software and I have also read about aptryx (xray vision). Some posts that I have read suggested no using the opendental imaging module but to use a separate one and bridge them. What are your thoughts?
