So you are getting the error on the new server? You should definitely run some disk health utilities and make sure everything is good. If the error originated on the old server then I wouldn't stress to much about it since you are retiring that machine.

The measurement would be dependent on your sensor size and several other factors. Most xray imaging programs have measurement tools built in. I think you should look at your xray program to see if it has those features.

We have our OD and Domain controller as the same virtual server. Both domain control and OD are mission critical so if either were to go down, the office is down. It is putting all your eggs in one basket but it is also less eggs to worry about. Only one server to update, backup, etc.

I don't know if this would come even close to being an acceptable solution, but you could do twain capture as a scanner directly into OpenDental's imaging module. You wouldn't have mounting or several other "xray imaging software" features, but it would work.

I poked around a bit and did not find a workaround. I believe that the permanent tooth limitation is coded into the program and you'd have to speak to OpenDental about changing that limitation for that procedure code.

I am not a lawyer but my understanding is that any automated signature has no chance of standing up in court. Same for being the use logged in etc. The only chance you have is with an actual signature originating from a legally admissible signature device.

If you have employees who are doing time theft, then restricting when they can clock in is not your main issue. You main issue is time theft and I would present it to them as that and explain that if they break the rules then they will get a warning etc until they are let go.

Fair enough on getting sleep. They are correct that the data is encrypted end to end for Mozy and Crashplan but I'm fairly sure that if an employee (of Mozy or Crashplan) wanted to get access to your files, then they could. With Truecrypt it's pretty much just the NSA who can get your data.

Yeah, I was referring to digital xrays. As for restoring the backup from Crashplan, you will have to look at your internet speed and the size of the data set to restore. It may be a pain but my method would be to format and reinstall the test computer at home. Since we don't know how the virus got in or how it may come back. I spend less time overall by doing that rather than trying to clean the system out because I usually end up having to go back to that computer ...

I'm unable to test the query at the moment but you can try it. If it doesn't work then I'll have to debug it later.

SELECT patient.FName, patient.LName, recall.IsDisabled, recall.Note
FROM patient, recall

INNER JOIN patient.PatNum ON recall.PatNum

WHERE recall.IsDisabled = TRUE
