Re: email not working

Jeff, I like your option. My IT just got done changing gmail/Outlook365 from POP to IMAP and now it works. However, all of the organization I had is gone, and a big new dump of uncategorized emails are waiting for me to sort. Maybe I'll check to see if I can go back.

Re: Windows update caused problems

I also had a network connectivity issue 1/25/2019 on just one workstation which was counterintuitively solved by running Win updates. There is chatter that MS has issued more recent updates to fix what they broke in previous ones. This was on one of my Win7 machines. Which v are you on?

Re: how to follow up on NP who dont schedule?

It used to be said "There's a million dollars sitting in your filing cabinet, you just need to know how to get it out." Now it's all in your computer waiting to be found. if you hire a PM consultant this is one of the first things they look at. My very strong belief is that unscheduled treatment pla...

Re: Open Dental is not sending the proper fee to insurance

FWIW, here's what Charles Blair DDS, a noted authority on fees, codes, and insurance has to say about the advantages of submitting full fee: 1 Proper calculation of patient benefits for coordination of benefits by secondary insurance (your full fee can often be obtained from the combination of two l...

Re: Popups timer default

There is not currently a way to have this kind of popup trigger. Feature request 1302 "More automation conditions." would be a great starting point. I recommend you vote on it and add any additional notes you wish. PracticeWorks seems to have the automation thing pretty well down, for example about...

Kevin,

Would it be difficult to have appointment color based on productivity measured in $/hr? That would help us immensely in our block booking.

Jay,

We have a Staples SPL-XC240P with 24 sheet capacity. We've had it 2-3 years and still running. It is quiet enough to run during the day. Actual results may vary.

Steven, Are you also a Club Lighthouse member? Also, for any missing functi...

Re: CRM - Customer relationship management?

What i really need is to be able to get a recall list, and then add the crm side to it, so that on any day, i can just get my receptionist to get on the phone, and have the computer to tell her who to ring, rather than spending her time finding out who to ring! I know that there are crm software, b...

New Version Naming Conventions?

I'm curious. Silly question here... Back in 2011 version names began to match the last 2 digits in the corresponding year, starting with 11.0 This year we skipped 13.0 to 13.1. Is this so we will be able to more quickly tell how many versions there are in a particular year?

No, sorry to say PWorks doesn't do this that I'm aware of and I'm not really sure if anyone else does either. After a cursory look at OD, missing functions such as "office expert", "automation expert" and "expert exchange" seem to be a bit of a deal breaker but I can't say that I've looked in enough...

Re: Any experiences with Patterson Imaging

It's been a few years so I don't know if it still holds true, but Apteryx rebranded as Cliniview came free with my purchase of Optime. There is a setting in their bridge that either connects via SSN or BD. I've had mine changed so it only has to match name and BD, so have fewer popup screens asking ...
