When we run statements and one family member has a balance, the statments are sent under the other family member on the account. I assume somehow this member is designated as head of account or something. How can statements be set to only send to the family member with the actual balance?

Excellent, I now have crashplan backing up the OD Server to Crashplan central and two other computers at the office. I just tested out restoring from backup and it took all of 6 minutes to have a backup computer up and running. XDR would be a different story since their licensing scheme is different.

Anyone using a Kiosk?
I was hoping to hear from individuals who are using the Kiosk. Do you have the patient fill out all there information on the Kiosk? DO you have paper versions just in case? There are a good number of elderly patients who would have no idea how to use a Kiosk. How do you deal with those situations?

100% agreed. I was uncomfortable with the idea which is the reason for the post. However the 20 + lines of red throughout the progress notes is really annoying. I will backup the database before running the query and obviously won't mess with the database in the future.

My troubles came because somehow I selected the original conversion database and also checked the box to not show the intro screen. I guess deleting the config file would have also worked.

I figured it out. I found an XML file FreeDentalConfig. Simply changed the database to the production DB.

Oh, also AVG has been uninstalled on all computers (however I really doubt that was the issue). The firewall was configured to allow communication through the port (which is obvious by it working with a direct IP).

I am getting ready to go with x-charge. I have been dealing with OB Johannessen from the Open-dentx.com website. Great to deal with and fast. So those that use x-charge I assume you like it. It seems very cost effective with low startup costs. Anyways, just looking for peoples experiences.
