Treatment Plan Fees Updates?

Hello there. We updates our fees every January. On OD software it's very easy to adjust the fees automatically. But doesn't update existing treatment plans. So we have been doing manually. Patient by patient. Very time consuming. My question is. Is there a way to update the new fees into the existin...

Re: OpenDental Support Fees

Im very happy paying the support fee. Excellent staff. Amazing customer service. Would I like a lower fee? Everybody wants to keep more dollars in the wallet If that's gonna make some oregon workers loose their job. I will probably find another way. Keep the jobs in america. Otherwise we are going t...

Android tablet possibly working with OD?

I came across these people last week. We have been emailing back and forth and they seem very helpful. I ordered one android tablet to try to make this work with open dental. I think it sounds too good to be true. But if it works I would like to use primarely as my kiosk and education station. Signa...

Re: Twain support for webcams and cameras

We have XDR and 3 usb wired ebay cameras. The botton on the camera freezes the image on the screen. Then double click on the "freeze" and "save" and done. Im not computer literate we just set them up on XDR. didn't use any other software. Goes directly seemless into the xdr database for a 120 bucks.

Re: Need new home computer

Im about to order computers from dell.

Jordan said that OD runs better on windows 7.

I got the same optiplex SFF with dual screens that I got for the office for the house. Little extra RAM and hard drive helps.

Re: Recomendation/Opinions.

Thanks for the info. We will be installing Windows 7 pro(32 bit) on stations and perhaps Windows 2008 r2 server. When we do it I will let everybody know how the whole thing went in a month or 2. I'm more worried about the performance of the imaging software. OD shouldn't give problems. Thanks again.

Re: Recomendation/Opinions.

I got the impression from previous information in this page. Also some of the OD retailers IT companies quotes that I got for the complete job recommended windows server 2003 and the windows 7 xp downgrade on the stations. Saying that would be more stable. I don't have a clue if they also were think...

Recomendation/Opinions.

Hi there. Seriously considering OD. 1. I'm assuming Windows 7 with 32 bit version shouldn't be a problem on work stations. 2. From Dell it seem that I can get the server with windows 2008. Would that be a problem? Do I have to get the 2003 version? 3. Considering e2v sensors with XDR. Anyone using t...
