Windows Home do not have backup. Windows Pro have backup. Windows Server 2003 have backup. Windows 2003 Small Business Server have the best backup, as in all those built-in backups. The good thing about Windows backup is that it could back up open files any time, like mySQL files. The bad thing abou...

5.1.14 Demo
I'm having issue with the installer. It won't let me specify where to put OD. It forces me to use C:\ drive to install OpenDental.exe. I don't want to use that driver because I'm running a different OS on C:\. Is there a way around this?

No good...
Whenever you have any file locked, you are not getting that file backup. Most backup softwares do not use shadow copy to do backup. The can't access locked files. Backup built in Windows does shadow copy before backing up the files. All files will get backup. Win 2003 server and XP Pro have no issue...

Database is new...installed from 5.0.17
Somehow it has provider in there. The schedule has office hours with that provider. Perhaps it installed sample database.
Anyway, it's working now. I won't worry about that.

My bad...
I left the box at the lower left corner blank. That would crash. As soon as I select the provider, it's been fine.

5.0.21 problem
Under Setup/Schedules, select any day and click OK. It would throw exception. Modifying the schedule or not, it would crash. The only way out is to click Cancel. Hope someone fix this problem.

I've upgraded OD to 5.0.21 and the latest ATI driver for Express 1100 from Dell. There is no speed improvement. The computer is Dell Optiplex 320. Every one in the office is complaining. Any idea?

The problem was that OD would only display 1 fee for each fee schedule. For example, it would only display the fee for D0120 for Humana, the rest of the fees were blank. It would only display the fee for D0120 for Diversified, and so on... Support reverted OD back to 4.6.31. Soon after, OD would ask...

5.0.17 problem
Updated from 4.5. Only 1 fee per fees showed up.
Revert to 4.6. All fees were fine.
Upgraded to 5.0.17. All fees were fine.
Now, only 1 fee per fees showed up in fee schedule. All fees are in query.
Any idea why?

Hi JK, in one case, the sensor had no physical sign of abuse, so the Dr. got a free replacement. His other sensor had bite mark. He had to pay for that replacement. He said that Suni would deny any warranty if there is a bite mark, regardless of how long the extended warranty. The Dr. doesn't like t...

Few more ideas...
For Vista Home, I installed OD while logged on as user A, in admin mode. I had to right click and select Admin to run. I kept getting the warning every time. For that same computer, I logged on as User B, as admin. I could not find OD listed in installed programs. I opened the OD directory and click...
