I have the same thing except mine does not go away after I Alt-Tab. I had to change graphics preferences in OD from DirectX to OpenGL. Also version 17.3.38.

You can also assign an F key to that. It will save you some clicks. All you have to do is select the tooth or teeth on the tooth chart and press the F key you assigned. In our case it's F4.

Both work nicely with Open dental. Apteryx has the advantage because it can work with most brands of digital sensors and PSP systems. Visix only works with Air Techniques equipment.

2. Add Procedure button Abutment and Crown.
3. Add procedure codes D6057 and D6059, add an icon for it if you want.

You can do this for every type of crown you usually make.

There's a report that could give you that information. Check the report under Daily Reports called "Procedures". You should select the dates that you want and the provider you want. Select "Grouped by Procedure Code". There's also an option to select a specific code if you don't want all the codes.

Other things that could cause the office fees to appear instead of the plan fees are defining a plan as "PPO Percentage" or if it's the claim that has the office fees, then the checkbox "claims show UCR fee, not billed fee."

I had the same problem in one of my machines. I uninstalled adobe viewer, downloaded and installed again. It works now, but sometimes when you click on a .pdf the preview is all black. I have to click on the dark window for the document to appear.

It could be that you need to adjust the exposure on your machine. The sensor will need less radiation when used outside the mouth to trigger an image. That needs to be increased a bit when you place it inside the mouth. If the sensor does not receive enough radiation, it will not trigger.

Sorry about the double quotes. The date also should use single quotes, but for some reason it won't return any results. Apparently this field isn't recognized as a date. We'll have to wait for the solution from the guys at OD.

Another work-around is to use windows' snipping tool to capture an image of the 835 as displayed by Open Dental, then import that into the payment. The advantage with this is that you get lots more information than what you get from the print version.

As long as you don't delete the old scanned image from the Open Dent Images folder your old sheets should be OK. If you plan to make a new sheet, it can have the old scan or a new one and that won't alter your old sheets.

If you add "with rollup" at the end, you will also get totals for each column, but then it won't print out correctly since the print function for queries adds its own sum total for the last column.

You also have to install MySQL and set it up as a new server in the installer. I'm not sure , but i think you can also install the trial version and then when you restore from the backup it will update Open Dental to the version on your backup.

Check what fee schedule you have chosen in the insurance definition in the Family Module. Then go to that fee schedule in Lists/Procedure Codes and check if that procedure has a fee listed.

I haven't tried it, but if you go into LISTS, then PROCEDURE CODES, look up the line for sealants. Double click on the line and then change tx area from "Tooth" to "Surf". That should do it. From then on when you select to treatment plan a sealant it will require the surfaces.

The only problem with Visix is that it's limited to Air Techniques products. If you want to buy a sensor of another brand, it won't work. The complete version is TigerView. It will run lots of different products, but it is a bit more complicated to use.
