Re: Checking Frequencies or Issues Before Financial Arrangement

I'd like the treatment plan to respect the frequency limitations. Re: Possible bug OD Forms

As far as the kiosk signing goes I have a box next to every patient signature box that points to the pen icon like this: <--Click the pen icon with the mouse, then sign the signature pad attached to the computer I occasionally check to make sure the forms were signed by the patient (not their frien...

Re: Reminders for different phase of treatments

Oh really? I never knew that. I had always assumed that you had to send claims for crowns on delivery date. If its legal to send it on prep date, then I'm fine doing it that way, and not changing the dates on the procedure. Thanks for the tip Jordan! I don't think that is true. At least around here...

Re: Document Management only

I have a prctice using softdent and really only want to have a paper chart archival/retrieval program. I do need the abilty to "look up" things and want to archive my older paper charts. Anyone using OD for primarily this reason? I switched from SoftDent to OD late last year and could not be happie...

Re: signatures

It's just not legally binding when you sign with the mouse. So don't plan on having patients sign things that way if you choose to do that. I have read this elsewhere in the OD dental literature, but must disagree. There is no legal difference between mouse and pad-created signatures. Reference: ht...

You can "sign" with the mouse.

Re: Lab cases attached to Patient Note

This is an old thread, but unanswered.
When I have a lab case made in a chart with no exisiting future appointment, the case does no appear in the Lab Cases list. Shouldn't it?

Single click on edit appointment behavior

I have a question regarding the edit appointment window and specifically the single click portion of the window. Currently if I single click to add procedures with a code that requires a certain tooth number (such as a single x-ray or limited exam) the appointment is made without any such number. In...

Progress notes columns

Can I edit the columns on the progres notes? I'd like to hide the amount column and re-organize the order of them.

Re: Feature request lists for trial user

Congratulations boboffice. The Open Dental team is very good at helping with anything you call in about. You can also ask questions on this forum and get less expert help from the rest of us :-) Thanks. That was a big factor in my decision. As long as the conversion goes well (and the world doesn't...

Feature request lists for trial user

I am a future OD user. Our conversion, from SoftDent, will be later this month. Our test conversion went well, and I'm really excited. My question is this: how can a trial/future user view the feature request list so I learn from it? Thanks.
