Thanks for the response. I ended up buying a refurbished QL-500 from amazon. It is only $18.22 with free shipping!!! It works very well. I have Vista on all the machines with Open Dental. I saw that before. Very likely, it is becuase you didn't install the program as "administrator". Please check the installation page below and redo it. Good luck.
