I did call support and they used the databaseintegritycheck tool under Program Files (x86)\Open Dental to fix it. Took a few minutes.

I've read through the solutions here on the forum and they all say run database maintenance, however, we can't even get into open dental to run the maintenance. How do you run it without being able to login?

I use apteryx and the reason I went with tuxedo sensors is because it's the same company.

Supposedly there is a twain driver, but I don't have any drivers labeled as TWAIN in the flash drive that came with the sensors.

Arna is dead on. We had already gone through many of the formats, but weren't finding a solution. That's when I posted the question here on the forum. But it just came down to continuing to try formats until we found one that worked.

I went paperless a few months after I started using opendental (year and a half ago) and what I did was bought a brother 8860dn all in one printer and an epson v700 scanner for the xrays. The brother scan duplex and I would really caution you to scanning all of a patient's history into one document....

Backup seems to be A LOT quicker as well (5min vs 1hr), but not sure if quick format is what did it or because of my new build. I'm backing up 5.11gb of A-Z folder/images, and 4gb of Suni digital xrays.

Two monitors working fine here, I use ultramon which puts a button in the upper right corner to quickly move the window to the other monitor.

Nevermind, Nathan told me how to turn it back on. Have to go into Setup>Modules and check the box "allow setting procedures complete."
