A good compromise would be to disable the resizing when the mouse is near the module buttons and leave it on when it is below in the blank space, nearer the bottom of the screen on the left side.

v 20.1.33

A couple of computers seem to give an error loading images at our front desk after a while. The message said something like "Network error..the image may be too big....." A restart of OD solved the issue, it was not a network error. Maybe a memory leak?

I got a Canon imageFORMULA DR-C225W II this year and it works great. Only one needed for multiple computers up front since it has a network connection. I also have quite a few smaller Canon imageFORMULA P-215II for a smaller individual computer scanner.

I have not figured out what causes this yet, but I had five "phantom" payments that showed up as checks on the deposit when they were entered in as credit cards. When I ran database maintenance, it did clear them. Will let you know if another one shows....

Love the concept, implementing the dashboard on different screen sizes is an issue for sure. They don't show up in Images, but I think that features should be implemented where they show in on the insurance check and also in the images module under an EOB section like statements do already. Much easier to find later on that way. They should show in both places.

I corrected it manually for this one, but yes, Linux is case sensitive and I usually leave my installation as case sensitive rather than turning it off to find errors. You don't need to mount drives anymore, at least with all versions of windows 10. Just set your path to "\\server\oddata" (substitute the actual path) instead of "z:\" and I bet it will work and you won't need to worry about mounted drives on different accounts.

hum, just had it do it again today. Completed prophy code and created insurance claim and all of a sudden the fee jumps from $83 to $581 (x7). I checked and the base units were still at 0 on the procedure code. I had to use my newly created similar prophy code from last week to check the person out....

Ok, finally figured out where base units were, and yes, they had been changed to 6 on those codes. Not sure how or why, but when I changed them back to 0, it fixed the problem!

i would say you are cutting out business by turning pts away who haven't not seen you in a while...work them in, do an extra RCT when they arrive or schedule them for that hole in your schedule on Tuesday, improve you bottom line and help that pt at the same time. :)

Was able to replicate. Happens if you start creating an ins plan and then cancel out before saving. It crashes as soon as you hit cancel and the inerrant plan get added.

I would go to 10 while you have a chance...no downsides, all upsides I have found. Speed is greatly improved over Win7. The normal free upgrade is over...unless you enable accessibility features and then upgrade...then you can still do it for free. :)

I haven't changed my ins claim form in a long while, but an insurance company just said they needed the 2012 form and wouldn't process my 2006 version. Where do we get the image for the claim form? It shows up blank when i go to edit the form and isn't in the "open dental\data" folder.

I would advise skipping RAID as well. Just use software to copy your data from one 1TB drive to the other a couple times a day and it will be MUCH easier to restore from a failure. (I still use the the old "Karen's Replicator" for duplicating data in this fashion to other computers for extra backup!...

Have you tried to copy directly with windows explorer a large file (like a 2GB movie) to make sure you can copy at 30-100mb/sec there (which would indicate USB3 depending on your flash drive speed.)

I found performance to be very lacking on my Thecus 5200, but it has a weak Atom processor. Also, the MySQL version was old and out of date. Hopefully it works well for you.
