ScanX Twain Driver

Can anyone tell me where to find a twain driver for a ScanX ILE? It doesn't seem to be in my current driver that is used with XVWeb, and I'd like to get our ScanX connected directly to OD. The Air Techniques driver download site isn't helpful.

Thanks!

Unexpected Error - Mobile Version

I keep getting an unexpected error while using the mobile version. The error comes from opendentalmobile.exe and is an "OutOfMemoryException". This happens if I do a full sync, or if I exclude appointments before the beginning of the week. I keep checking the memory usage while running the program, ...

Thank You...

Dr. Sparks & OD Staff, Thanks so much for making Open Dental work with Vista 64. I'm sure that you don't have a significant number of users with this OS, so thanks for taking the time to do it. You've built a great program and it's great to watch it continue to evolve! Have a good weekend, Joshua Sm...

I double-checked the data path to the A-Z folder. It was correct, but I selected the folder again. Now the problem is resolved. The server is an SBS 2003 SP1 box. The workstations are primarliy XP Pro, with one vista64.

Thanks for the suggestions.

It works as it should on the server, but yes, the workstations still experience the problem: a fle not found, but then success on the second try.

Problem opening pdf files from images folder

Last week my staff notified me of a small problem accessing the pdf files that we have imported into the images folder. What happens is that we get a "file not found patientname#### .pdf" after clicking once. After closing the dialog box, we then can click on the file, and it opens as it always has....

Yeah, we've got a lot of computers running around here also...

I did a fresh install of vista 64 on another disk and installed nothing but OD 5.4.18 and got the same result. That may or may not help much.

This wasn't a problem until my update to 5.3.24 if I remember correctly. It could be something on my end. I'll test some things and get back to you.

Instead of a new computer, why not just install the os in a dual-boot configuration on an existing computer?

I just wanted to clarify my hardware setup. Anything to help resolve the issue. I enter most of the treatment notes with this workstation.

Thanks.
