Re: Online Bill Pay for Patients
Hi Brian, Currently we have the integration for the swiped transactions at the front desk to post directly into OpenDental but do not yet have that level of automation for the online patient payments. It's something we have discussed and may offer at some point in the future. All patient payments wo...

Sorry for the delayed response, but I wanted to double check and make sure I was providing correct information. In a stored card transaction, we don't have complete control of the rate charged by a particular card issuer. The key is to provide as much information as possible in order to get the best...

Re: CLM01 in eclaims
For what it's worth, DentalXChange replaces (but stores) the claim ID received on the claim with a unique claim ID since very few PMS programs supply unique numbers. You are able to search claims by either ID in ClaimConnect so that you will have the unique claim ID availabe if checking on a claim w...

Re: ANSI 835....
DentalXChange has the ability to receive the 835 files and post them to your ClaimConnect account for download. Once you've downloaded them, Open Dental could be programmed to read in and post the data. (or maybe already can?)
Hope this helps,
Scott

The only payer that tends to care about the license number is Delta CA. If a provider practices in more ...

Good article on this topic in the September 4, 2007 issue of PC Magazine.
