Re: Procedure Button in Chart Module for 3 Unit Bridge

Thanks Dr. that explains the way auto code is designed. Can the software recognize the pontic and post no BU on a missing tooth? Re: Procedure Button in Chart Module for 3 Unit Bridge

My objective is highlight a series of adjacent teeth and click a procedure button and see the following codes posted. 1. D6245 - for Pontic 2. D6740 - for Retainer 3. D2950 - for Buildup This objective appears to be a very common one. However with the current restrictions in auto codes I can have on...

This procedure button will post pontic codes for tooth #11 and retainer codes for tooth #10 and #12. for the retainers tooth there will be two codes one for Crown and another one...

Re: Multiple clinics as MultiTenant

I read through this instructions https://opendental.com/manual/hostmultipledatabases.html This gives more clarity on how a multi tenancy in one webserver can be achieved. Improving SFTP server transaction speed

Currently I have SFTP server in gigabit network and office at 200/25.

Each click on an image in image module takes about 4-6 secs for less than 100kb images. Wondering if there is any fine tuning that can help the response time.

Re: DLL interaction with OpenDental to change patient selected

I am not looking to send claims. For example In OpenDental you can "Go to Account" from other windows. However I wish there is a option for "Go to Claim" ( in ERA) which will not only select the patient, go to account module and also highlight the claim. Similar to above functionality, I should be a...

The shared ID (or the key) can validate the request is coming from authenticated (open dental client) source, then the user ID can identify the individual logged into the OD.

Re: Single Sign On

I believe program links such as payconnect (merchant services) uses some kind of key to authenticate (coming from OD) and identify the client (if not user). If we can use that vehicle to add user identity, the bridges will have finer processing capability.

Re: Single Sign On

How about sending the user logged in ID, since the ID is unique the bridged application has access to OD database to use the passed ID for identification. No password involved and it's not necessary either. This will help the bridged application use OD client as the primary application for logging in.
