Re: Using artificial intelligence in dentistry

Yes, I'll let you know if I hear more from them.
I know one colleague here in NL who tried it and he told me just today that he stopped as his patients and staff almost started a mutiny, so ... :o
We'll just have to see about that.

Re: MariaDB

Just wondering...

Has the position on MariaDB changed in the last 5,5 years within Open Dental ?
As MariaDB is easily available on Synology NAS machines it is a very tempting alternative to a Windows server running a MySQL server.

Not in fixed time-slots but patients have an appointment that for ex. is "somewhere between 09:00 and 10:00". I don't know how it exactly works and I don't know if it would work with O...

Re: Sharing CBCTs

Again, I don't want to be nagging you guys, but all this could be solved if the Orthanc Open Source DICOM server would be added to the Open Dental distribution. https://www.orthanc-server.com. It DOES need a dental frontend though...

Re: Radiographs and Intraoral Cameras

That sounds great Jordan, BUT wouldn't it be time to bring Open Dental into the era of DICOM ? For this I'd like to point you to the guys at Orthanc, who created a DICOM Open Source server: https://www.orthanc-server.com . The advantage of this would be that you don't have to worry anymore ab...
