How are you all handling a patient's electronic signature for credit card transactions?
It's time for me to move away from printing these and storing the paper version.
What do you guys use?
Is there a thread somewhere? I wasn't having any luck on the search engine.
Thanks

Re: Referred Procedures & Completion
We called support and they showed us how to mark it at completed by other provider, however, then it changes the date of the original referral and the documentation of that referral gets erased. In other words, if I refer for RCT on 9/11/17 the graphic shows as orange If endo gets completed on 09/12...

Re: Referred Procedures & Completion
Where are we at in 2017 on this topic? I have my "referral color" as orange. So let's say I refer out #3 for endo. It will appear orange and in the notes it will say what date I referred the patient for endo. Once the endo is done by specialist and I get the letter, I like to set it as completed by ...

Re: Query for Insurance and Employer
That worked great. Thank you. Is there a tutorial on how to write these queries? Cuz now I'd like to take it one step further... Can that report give me how many patients are covered by that employer? And can I make it list only active patients? I'd love to be able to know how to write these... Thanks

Query for Insurance and Employer
I'm looking to run a report that shows who the employers are for a particular insurance.
For example, which employers have Metlife as their carrier. I've tried a few different query examples but no dice.
Any ideas?

RealTime Eligibility and Benefits with ClaimConnect
Just started the ClaimConnect free trial
Are any of you using this for real time benefits?
Any issues?
Any other services I should consider instead?
Why do some people use this AND Trojan? What's missing from ClaimConnect's benefits summary?

Well, yes, I understand I can text them manually, etc but I was wondering about the email feature where they can click confirm and OD automatically updates their appointment as confirmed.

eConfirmation for new additions?
Hello,
I currently have my eConfirmations set up to confirm 10 days out. But, let's say a patient gets added to the schedule a few days later. Is there a way to send an econfirmation to them? I know it won't be automated but isn't there a way to manually shoot them that text / email?

eServices sending some emails but not all?
We've just started using the eConfirmation and eReminder services and are trying to work out some kinks. It appears that some patients are getting the email / text and some are not. We noticed that on one of the upcoming days, one patient got the email / text and another unrelated patient did not. Y...

Re: How are you using eServices in your practice?
The reason: if we mark a patient as confirmed from the first contact (10days out) we want to be able to send only a reminder, not a text / email where they have to press "confirm" again. Is there a way to do this? If you're using eConfirmations (the automated confirmation system we provide) then yo...

Thanks! We are in the process of setting up patient preferences right now. People seem to be loving the texting option though. Along these lines, my follow up question is
if I am billing under my group NPI and my associate is IN Network with a plan but I am not, will the IN NETWORK fee get triggered? Trying to avoid a book keeping nightmare.

Is there a way to send myself a tester email to see how it will look to patients?
Also, what if the patient who has the appointment is a child and doesn't have an email listed? How do I work around that?

Thanks. I will look at updating and see if some of my issues resolve. But I think the most troublesome is that the date that populates is not today's date. It always says 01/01/0001. Insurance Verification Set up
On the Insurance Verification List, the date is listed as 01/01/0001 under "last verified". When I select a patient and mark them verified, it doesn't change the verification date in the patient's insurance section. Only until I click the "verify now" button does it give today's date. Why the double...

Has anyone done this type of report?
I pulled my procedures report for one year but I'd like to see if I can streamline the report.
I tried the query examples but wasn't able to find one close to this concept.

Hello,
I'm working with version 15.3.40
I notice that in the recall section there is verbiage for us to email recall / appointment reminders to patients. But I can't for the life of me figure out how to use it!
