Auto notes/Chart notes, Pick list...

This has probably been discussed before, I was wondering if anyone has any examples of auto notes or chartless type of pre-typed chart notes that they could post,or direct me to a previous thread. Thanks

Re: Potential Open Dental User

I had Softdent as my first computer practice managment system starting in 1988. I switched to OD in 2007 because SD was not keeping up well with all the changes going on in the digital field and many other areas that are too numerous to mention. The first thing I would do is build a network so there...

I was looking for opinions on the electronic benefits feature available with Claims Connect or CDNet, I am not using either of these for electronic claims. What % of insurance company's does this feature work with, is it a helpful process? Thanks.

Setting Referrals Complete

What is the proper way to set complete a patient's treatment that was referred out for a specialty service. For example, if someone is referred for 3rd molar removal ,I select on chart the teeth to be removed, and that the procedure was referred. When service is completed by the specialist if I set ...

Re: Paperless - Progress Notes Entry technique

I think an Auto notes overhall, or Dentrix style template would be good. I do not find it easy to make progress notes that are complete yet not time consuming, maybe this is my lack of knowledge on the best way to do it. Chartless should be quicker and thus more productive, not just easier to read. T...

Re: Need a good laser printer recommendation, that won't cutoff

We use a Samsung ML-2010, it doesnt cut off my NPI. Have had printer for 3 years, so there is probably a new version. We send almost 100% of claims electronically using RSS and Fast attach for xrays and Perio charts. There are other clearing house's for eclaims as well.

Re: Data conversion question

I converted from Softdent about 1 year ago, after using it since 1989. We had conversion done in late afternoon and were using OD the next morning, the old system was in the rearview mirror right away. Manually entering every patient only makes sense if there is no conversion available, or you are a...

Past Xray dates

Is there a spot to quickly check past BWX, Pano dates with out scrolling thru chart? I'm a Softdent coversionite, and that program had the dates for various events, easily seen. If not, maybe it could be added in future. I'm on version 4.9 Thanks.
