This name should be pulled in from the device's name in your device's settings. There have been few times where this has not pulled in correctly, such as on Kindle Fire's. Other than that, there is currently no way to nickname a device.

Hello Giovanni, This issue was fixed in 19.1.32 which we just released. The instance of Open Dental you are testing against should be updated to that.
