Do you have any email addresses stored with approval to send an email? It would be far cheaper to do an email blast with constant contact or mailchimp. If you don't, then I use a third party system to do print and mailers. I have it integrated into my service, but if you have the motivation and tech...

I would have to call Dentrix to find out for sure to find out about MySQL support. But in the event they say they do not support MySQL, you may just wait a little bit.
