Re: "In House" Membership Plans
Unfortunately I can't offer any insight into your question, but would also be interested in any recommendations. Especially how people typically handle: -Charges (recurring monthly auto-charge VS down payment/monthly auto-charge VS all at once annual fee)? -Pre-notifications of renewals if on an ann...

Re: Using a Canon Camera straight into Open Dental Plugin
Justin, in addition to my previous question a couple posts up...I've DL'd and tried the trial IOCsnapshot app for OD capture, and I can't see where I would select the appropriate Canon setting. -In OD when in Images>Import if my camera is connected via USB it opens the general OS file explorer. -Whe...

Re: Using a Canon Camera straight into Open Dental Plugin
Justin, is there a way to capture from a Canon directly into XDR software at a set resolution? If so, could it do a continuous "Auto-Capture" of a series of photos as each one is taken?

Thanks Jason, I guess I misunderstood the function of that setting, and assumed it had to be the email address verbatim.

Re: Suggestions for general email usage through Open Dental?
At minimum, does anyone know if it is possible to do an auto-reply through Open Dental?
I suppose as an alternative I could set it up through the google side since our email are through G Suite. This may be better anyway so auto-replies don't clutter the OD charting and inbox?

Re: Suggestions for general email usage through Open Dental?
Also, is there a way to specify the name that shows in the recipient's inbox?
For example, if our general email is contact@"officename.com", the name currently showing is "contact" when I'd prefer it to be something like "Our Office Name".

Suggestions for general email usage through Open Dental?
I finally set up an email address specifically to be used by the team within Open Dental. My initial goal was to be able to easily send referrals to specialists via OD, and perhaps some post-op instructions for various procedures. I was just curious how most people are using this feature. I am hopin...

2019 CDT Codes...Cleanings Category and Space Maintainers?
I just imported the new 2019 CDT codes and noticed a new category named "Cleanings" was created and D1516, 1517, 1526, 1527 all pertaining to space maintainers were added to this category. I'm assuming this is an error, so wanted to point it out. Any recommendations to which category I should move t...

Re: Query Help - Production by Insurance Plan
Thank you, that was able to help get me what I needed, I also needed to create a separate insurance carrier to separate out what I was specifically looking for using those reports. Do you think you could confirm whether the $Patient_ column in query 227 is utilizing our office fees rather than the a...

Re: Query Help - Production by Insurance Plan
I BUMPED this old post to see if anyone has a good answer for this.
I am trying to determine the amount of production from a particular insurance plan, and can not find an easy way to do this. Surely there's a easy report for this that I'm overlooking?

Hide or change (NoBillIns) on statement or account?
Is there a way to hide or remove the (NoBillIns) from statements, or to alter what is shown when "Do Not Bill to Ins" is selected? The reason is that I find there are already too many patients that second guess and doubt everything, that it creates more doubt or can make them perceive that you are t...

My understanding is that it does this automatically for MOLARS not for PREMOLARS, so I was wondering if there was a way to set it to downgrade automatically for premolars. We do have it set to automatically substitute for molars, I guess we should probably just select "Always" in the substitue insur...

Time Cards or Payroll Reports Printing
Greetings. There are two questions I have regarding the printing of Time Cards and Payroll Reports, and was wondering if there is a way to alter one or both: 1) I'm looking for a way to print all employees Time Cards continuously on a sheet (or sheets) of paper. Re: Broken, Cancelled and Failed Appointments
What's the best way to set an appointment as a Cancelled Appointment (D9987)t as opposed to a Missed Appointment (D9986)?
That seems to be the more frequent situation for us, and the front is used to using the "Break Appointment" option in the Appointments window.
