You're welcome. It was really easy to write it up based on one of custom queries.

Re: Query for No FMX Recall Type

Well, this took a lot less time than I thought. This query will give you the PatNum, Age, and Appointment Date & Time for all patients with an appointment scheduled today or later and they don't have a recalltype of 6. You'll need to change that one item (line 4) to the appropriate recalltype. You c...

Re: Query for No FMX Recall Type

I'm looking for a list of active patients with an appointment who do not have a recall type for an FMX. Does anyone know how I can pull this information? Thank you. I'm assuming you're looking for future appointments? I can probably whip it together, but I need one bit of info: the RecallTypeNum fo...

Re: Shiny New ASUS Router - VPN Question

I need some form of software that detects when the server has been moved, so it will perform an emergency shutdown. But nobody has asked me to do that yet. Like the network card has been unplugged or perhaps proximity or.. something. Ideas? Maybe something like this: :End ping google.com If %errorl...

Re: Shiny New ASUS Router - VPN Question

Yep.. I like Hamachi.. I use it with RSync. It uses 256 AES Encryption. Which I would no longer do in this day in age.. syncing the PMS to the doctors house. Naaaaa..... On the whole syncing data thing, I think it's very easy to get paranoid about following every last detail in HIPAA to t...

Re: Shiny New ASUS Router - VPN Question

You are not allowed to transfer data between the home and office without using 256 bit encryption or DES. I'm going to respectfully disagree with this statement. I have never seen any official documentation that states 256-bit encryption is a requirement. In fact, encryption isn't even really offic...

Haha, no rain. You've been VERY helpful all along. I don't mind being told no or it can't be done. I can accept that (when it's true) and I'll either find an alternate way or decide to move on.

Re: Shortcut to Images Folder?

This is because it would be a waste of resources and time to migrate all the images and documents every time a patient is renamed when how often do users manually go to their patients physical AtoZ image dir? You can just use the images module and if you really really really need to physically get ...

Ok, trying a few things. This will open the folder using the last name first letter:

But this won't work (gets error message):

Shortcut to Images Folder?

I've got an idea I'd like to do, but I'm not sure if I can pull it off. We have a PDF Rx form for a lab we use. I know I could recreate it as a sheet, but, honestly, I like native PDFs better. What I'd like to be able to quickly save it to a patient's images folder via a command line script. What I ...
